About Dr. Feibelman
Dr. Marcy Feibelman grew up in Rhode Island. Ever since they were a child they had a strong desire to help people. Their interest in natural medicine first came about when they were a teenager, after working with alternative medicine providers to recover from a back injury. Through the combined efforts of a chiropractor, a physical therapist/ craniosacral therapist, and an acupuncturist, they had a smooth recovery. During that time, Dr. Feibelman gained a great appreciation for how the body works and its ability to heal. Their interest in the sciences was ignited, and they decided to pursue a degree in biology and a career in medicine.
In 2004, Dr. Feibelman graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. After working in Boston for a few years in the pharmaceutical industry, they decided to explore medical school options and discovered naturopathic medicine. After reading about the philosophy and treatment modalities, and visiting one of the schools, Dr. Feibelman had found their professional home. They knew they wanted to learn how to help the body heal itself – one of the founding tenets of naturopathic medicine. In 2011, Dr. Feibelman graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine.
Dr. Feibelman states, “Moving to Portland and the Pacific Northwest was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. It’s exciting to move forward and share what I have learned. I look forward to following my passion of helping people to heal and prevent future health problems. My goal is to understand how your body developed its symptoms, what caused the underlying imbalances, and how these changes have affected your life. We will work together to uncover these answers.”
